Sign by Side of County Road 00 in Eland, Wisconsin

Many of us who wish to be in support of Native Nations have traveled great distances in recent months to be at Standing Rock or in Washington DC or elsewhere for support marches or vigils.
On Saturday, Aug 5th, all day from 10:00 on, those reading this website who live near the Connecticut River in Western Mass have the opportunity to be with members of many of the Tribal Nations of the Northeast as they gather by the shore of the River in Unity Park in Montague, MA 01376
for the Nolumbeka Project’s annual Pocumtuck Homelands Festival, a day of ceremony, storytelling, arts and craft vending, drumming and singing, and solidarity with the First Nations of Turtle Island. You don’t have to travel far to be where you are. Just be there. Find out more from: Nolumbekaproject.org
