Wind Turbines line the Ridges South of Oneida

Yesterday, headed west on Route 20 I began to see dozens and dozens of wind turbines along successive ridge lines, turning gracefully in the wind.
This part of New York State is tunneled like the edges of a Spinach Lasage noodle, and biking across it is like riding over a washboard in a Giant Cajun band.
The same west wind blowing of distant Lake Erie made going downhill seem like going up. But the wind turbines were jammin’.
I wonder who gets the profits from their power?
